Mama, are you “Gritty”?
Here’s the deal —there is Greatness in you despite what you think or have been told.
You have what it takes. Say it out loud, "I have what it takes".
GRIT Webster definition: Courage, resolve; strength of character.
According to ChatGPT, having grit refers to having a combination of perseverance, passion, and resilience in the pursuit of long-term goals, even in the face of obstacles, setbacks, and failures. Grit is often seen as a key factor in achieving high levels of success and personal fulfillment. Grit is associated with accomplishing challenging goals, overcoming obstacles, and thriving in the face of adversity.
James 1:2-4 (NIV):
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
Let’s break “G.R.I.T” down even further:
1. G = God, Greatness, Glory, Gifts, Generous, Giver
2. R= Residence, Rising, Relentless, Reviving, Restoring, Refreshing, Resilient
3. I = Inside, Included, Important, Intentional, Insight
4. T = Temple, Time, Thankful, Team, Teaching, Taken, Thoughtful, Together
Don’t miss what your G.R.I.T is teaching you. Maybe it’s time to implement words above highlighted to you and turn them into declarations.
As you learn to G.R.I.T. -------> Show up /Persevere/Pursue no matter what you will:
WALK taller.
WALK confidently.
WALK strong.
WALK humble.
WALK out your Destiny.
