Mama, you're not too busy

I don’t know about you, but some days it’s hard to put one foot in front of the other let alone know which way to go.
Here’s the thing —- Doors are constantly opening and shutting. Everything around us is in motion. Nothing is guaranteed, not even tomorrow.
Time gets faster and days roll into weeks into months into years, especially as we age. Can I get an Amen?
If we don't intentionally pause to sit, breathe, think, pray and rest we can easily get trapped on the treadmill of life which ultimately leads to burnout, stress, exhaustion, poor health, and more.
When this happens are we really walking out our God-designed assignments in our true identity? Additionally, whose voice are we listening to?
Isaiah 30:21
Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
If we're too busy, too overwhelmed, too tired, you fill in the too_______, how can we discern which way to turn better yet get stronger in our walk?
Maybe the setbacks, roadblocks, or detours are God's way of protecting us from going down a path that's not for us or HE has something bigger and better that we don't see or understand.
The only way to know is to spend time with God reading HIS alive, active, and powerful word. Journaling with HIM. Talking with HIM. More importantly, listening to what HE has to say. If you don't hear HIM or know HIS voice it may be time to pause.
The truth is God always has time for us. He is actually waiting for us to step into a relationship with HIM so we both can WALK together.
Here are 3 keys to Walk stronger with God
1. Take the time (even if it's 5 minutes) to thank God. Thank HIM for your breath, resources, work, shelter, transportation, health, family, relationships...You wouldn't be here if it wasn't for HIM. You are here on purpose for such a time as this.
2. Open the Bible, even if you've never read it before, know where to start, or simply need to restart. The Bible is your power source for everything you do in life. The words will encourage, comfort, and direct your steps. Ask Holy Spirit to help you understand what HE wants you to know.
3. Grab a notebook and journal with God. Ask HIM what HE wants you to know, what HE wants to do, how you can serve HIM, what HE wants to do in and through you...Don't beg and plead. Do ASK, but when you take the time to put God first you'll be blown away at what HE does and how fun it is to work together. Holy Spirit is your BFF!
Mama, you are strong. You are royalty 👑. Listen to HIS still, soft voice and block out the noise. Straighten your crown. Never stop growing, surrendering, and giving thanks. Life is short to live in the rearview mirror. Now walk like you mean it so you know which way to turn.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
