Lead with the Towel

Mama, be willing to go low

Here’s the deal — less of you, more of Him. Washing others' feet will bless you more than them.

John‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

“Then He *poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.”

Humble your heart, wash feet and watch what happens. We need Great Leaders like you willing to get low. Humility comes before Wisdom and so does the Fear of the Lord. Be willing to get on your knees first in order to serve. Remember, Jesus came to serve not to be served.

Below are 7 ways to humbly lead with the towel:

1) Do the "unimportant jobs"

2) Work behind the scenes

3) Helping when no one else does or has

4) Do what others won’t

5) Bless your enemies

6) Give expecting nothing in return

7) Be last

Read the following “Prune” prayer and scripture out loud:

Lord, reveal to me my false grapevines AKA Idols in Jesus name so I can humbly serve without hesitation in Jesus’s name, Amen 🙏

Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭23‬-‭24‬

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.”

The sooner you die to yourself the better.

Pruning Easy? Nope.

Pruning Necessary? 💯

Pruning Worth it? Yup (think Orchard).

Your destiny is attached to others. This journey isn’t about you, but what God is doing in and through you to populate Heaven. The lower you go, the higher God is Exalted. Lord, have your way.

Come WALK with us. We push through pain, heal past hurts, and step into freedom while seeking Jesus through serving others.

Let me know which questions above impacted you the most and why. I'm working on 2, 5 and 6. Sometimes its easy, but not always. I'm a former performer, people pleaser and perfectionist and attention seeker. As long as I'm in step with Jesus, nothing else matters!

Come WALK with us by Faith. Every Humble Step you take matters,
